rs36mm carbs to big for 750?

Are the rs36mm carbs to big for a gs750? If so what carb would you run for performance?

Unless you've got some major motor mods you need RS34s.

They are aftermarket carbs. New ones go for about $600, you can probably get a good used set off Ebay for about $300. You also have to have a push-pull throttle assembly to make sure the carbs close when you close the throttle. Individual K&N filters are pretty much a necessity as well since the RS carbs probably won't mate to the stock airbox.
