    Aftermarket Head Gaskets

A local parts shop told me that the only place he could order a head gasket for my 82 GS750 was from Suzuki at about 45 bucks. Does anyone know a aftermarket source?

    Hi Steve.

I tried the aftermarket head gaskets and they are too hard, and lead to
oil leaks in no time. Stick with the Suzuki parts.

If you can get the part number you could check on BikeBandit. Might be less expensive than the dealer.

Thanks guys, It makes sense to go with a gasket that you don't have to worry about rather than tearing it down again just to save a buck or two.

Cometic makes very good gaskets. As good, or better than stock, and cost less. I've seen a lot on e-bay, but not sure if any for 750's.
