    Polishing sensitive areas

    Hi guys,
after trying to polish my GS1100 I realized I was doing more bad than good. I was using Mothers at the time.

    1. How do I polish the primary covers without removing the TSCC paint?

    2. How do I polish the wheels without removing the darkened stuff from the mag spokes?

    Thanks, Steve

I did my wheels with progressively finer sandpaper (emory cloth). Think I stopped at 1500 grit. So they aren't a mirror finish but they look a lot better than they did. Got all the road grime and oxidation off.
