    1073

I've been replacing signal relays, blinker relays and checking grounds for a week trying to get my blinkers working to no avail. About to give up I checked the bulbs and they were 12 volt and 14 watts. Although they look identical, and lit up, they would not blink. I replaced them with what the book says it should be 12.8 volts and 23 watts, these are bulb number 1073. 70 cents each at Oreilly auto parts. Guess what, with the correct bulb, they work like new.

Non-electronic flashers are very sensitive to the load they are driving. You have got to have the right bulbs in.
