    swap out rake and trail

the popular gsxr inverted usd swap for gs1100 katana. I can't find the steering geometry numbers. I know many have done it but I need to know about any high speed instability.

    91 gsxr 750 forks on 82 1100 kat.

I can't find the fork length for the gsxr? I think they are 30 inches which shortens mine by 1.25 inches.

    any help is appreciated.

I've got the '88-'90 cartridge style fork on my bike. It lowered the front end considerably with no ill effects on handling.

Mine were quite a bit shorter. I'd have to raise the front end to say for sure, but I'm thinking it was about 28.5". You may gain whatever you lose in tire heighth. I can get you real measurements this evening if you need them, including tire diameter.

          thanks for the info.

I have a set of 1100 forks. They fit fine and I have lots of clearance.

          They measure 30 inches.
