Rust Remover! You want it gone?

Get yourself some Blue and Rust remover from the gun section at wal-mart. Probably lots of other stores. Some super fine steel wool, and ruber chem gloves as well. You are probably (really!) going to have to remove and dis assmble the parts first. (No kiddding take them off!) Apply it with the steel wool let it rest then gently scrub the rust away. I used some mild dish soap to neutralize the phosphoric acid. A week later and the chrome is still brite and new where it once was covered with rust. This stuff really gets it gone. I would recomend regular polish for lite surface rust, but if you want to resurect a piece that would other wise be a goner this is the stuff. If the crome is still under thier you will be able to bring it back. Don't do it on the bike. You don't want this stuff on your paint, or in your eyes becouse you crawled under the bike to do it.
