    Discussions about the future BOTM

I figured that I would get this thread started. This is similar to the Pic Of The Week contest in the Campfire channel. Mark and I will be looking in here for monthly BOTM entries, in addition to the submissions we get off the website main page. Thanks!

I'd suggest you change the name to " Bike Of The Month Game " .... Pic of the month doesn't lead the reader to open the thread to get information on the subject you want them to address .......

Just did that. Saw "Pic of the..." and clicked, thinking it was the weekly game.

I don't like Bike of the Month "Game." I think "Award" or "Winner" sounds better and more accurately describes it. Opening it up to any brand might increase participation, but sort of defeats the purpose.

So how about repeat entries? Same bike, different photo, say eligible again after 18 months maybe? If we had more participation, we could make like Hefner - one every month, then a "Bike of the Year."

Or we could just turn a camera loose in Trevor's garage and be set till 2027.

I am current in the process of syncing the website with my home server so that I can make some changes to the website code. In doing this an idea popped in my head - why don't I grab a bike from out of the Gallery from the last couple of years and use that for this month's BOTM? That way we have a new bike for BOTM, not a repeat BOTM. So I am going to grab one and pop it in there.
