AMA hall of famer Steve Wise recently passed away at the age of 68.
Steve was a successful:
Motocross racer
Supercross racer
Wide World of Sports Superbiker champion. twice
Dirt Track racer
Road racer
After Steve retired from racing, he got into real estate.
He was also a Ordained Minister.
I personally had the chance of meeting Steve. He was the Grand Marshall at the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days in 2023
The story that sticks in my mind...
​During the Superbikers race, he was going through the road section of the course faster than the top road racers.
Honda thought, let's see how he does on a Super Bike... The rest is history.
