Early 4 into 1 exhaust systems were all megaphones, Does anybody remember what year the canister types were introduced?? I just saw a 1983 Honda CB 1100 F, 3rd owner, 3600mi. advertised on ebay. It has a V&H canister pipe on it, & says this pipe was installed in 1983, when bike was new. I was buying & experimenting with 4 into 1 pipes in 1983, but I don't remember the canister types being available in 1983. Just wondering.
