    compression 1979 GS1000L

I'm getting ready to do valve maintenance and did a compression check prior. I'm getting 90~95PSI throughout all 4 cylinders. One of my manuals, Clymer or Haynes said it should be at 125-185 PSI. I let the bike run for about 2-3 min before testing and when I had everything ready to go I did a temp check with an IR thermometer. The head was at 118F. Is this not hot enough to get an accurate value? Engine has 19K on it and like many we aquire previous history maintenance is unknown.

    Thanks
