IMG_3916 by Gerald Kaiser, on FlickrYesterday I was looking over the 850 to try and find a vibration I have been having. and saw that the drive shaft boot was ripped open. When I opened the boot and saw that 2 of the 4 bolts were gone and the 2 that were left beat up pretty bad. I think was good that i was able to remove them with my fingers because heads were beat up enough that I could not get a wrench on them. When I removed the swing arm there was no bolts in the boot. they must of shot through the boot and at the same time took off the plastic swingarm cover. So now I need that plastic swingarm cover and a new boot. I have checked all the on line places they say unavailable.
If anyone has a good used one let me know. I also need the plastic swingarm cover for the left side I have an extra one for the right side.
