Anyone tried this fairing?

Thinking of getting an SV650 headlight and using this setup on my bike?

What do you guys think?

I'm not quite sure if it will flow nicely with an older GS........Interesting.

It is a quarter fairing for a SV 650 from ...well, right click on the photo, then properties, and that will give you the link from the pic. Sorry I am not at home right now.

That fairing would probably look good on an 'E' model

It's a Targa SportStar fairing

It fits surprisingly well with the mounts made for the SV..
It bolts on using the upper clamp pinch bolts and the brake distribution block under the lower triple.
The GS upper bolts are larger then the SV so you'll have to drill the mount out a little.

You need to use the SV headlight ears and marker lights or somehow re-locate them if using the GS ears..

You also need to remove the lower triple cover for clearance.

It didn't look right on my GS1000L so it's just hanging on my wall..
I may try it on the 83 E if I ever get to bring it home.
