    78 1000C seat cover is done

    Pit Replicas sent me an eamil with pics of the flat C model cover..so now the E and C model seat covers are readily available to the world at large.. I forwarded the email to Joe Whelan, so hopefully he can repost the pics here..

    That's just great I say!

    But.............. I didn't read your thread title completely, and what I was hoping to see was your Skunk with the new seat cover on it. Guess I'll just have to wait.

        Steve...I too am looking forward to seeing it on there...soon as it arrives. They sent it registered mail and as of yet i havent gotten any notices from the post office saying i have any registered mail to go pick up..it will be soon though. You want to try uploading the pics from the email?? I click on copy and save and they dont make it to any of my docs folders...whatever.

            I saw it..and they actually used the picture of your seat as the template and took the pattern and measurements from the E seat that i sent in. So your original C seat picture was involved in the production process as well.

                    Chuck, are you using photobucket ? If you are, put your mouse over the picture, and RIGHT click it. One of the options should be " Upload to Photobucket ". Scroll down, and left click it. Voila, you're done.

                          Pit Replica has already posted them as the 78-80 flat and step seat styles...so there ya go..they are both now into regular production..
