. I tried penetrating oil and still nothing. I got the other one out the same way and I just don't know what it is with this one. Also I have inspected the diaphragms and slide and I'm not sure if it is just the gunk from the old fuel but there is stuff stuck to the rubber on the diaphragm part. What is the safest way to clean this without damaging the rubber? I was thinking just hot water and soap but I don't want to ruin them. They appear to be in good shape other than that. Very small cracks on the outer edge where it fits into the groove. Should I be concerned about that?

'81 850 carb troubleSo I've been digging into my carbs and I have stripped a screw on the choke rail. Bummer. I was impatient and probably didn't use enough penetrant. When I acquire a cutting disc for my dremel, I'm sure it will come out easy I hope. My problem right now is with needle jet. I have done as instructed in the tutorial and the darn thing wont budge . I tried penetrating oil and still nothing. I got the other one out the same way and I just don't know what it is with this one.
