In case it is important, here is how the stuff is wired. Note: I have a total loss system - no stator, etc.
The left coil fires cylinder 2&3.
The right coil fires cylinder 1&4.
The black from the Dyna-S goes to the left coil negative.
The white from the Dyna-S goes to the right coil negative.
The black wire from the DRL-300 goes to ground.
The red wire from the DRL-300 goes to switched positive.
The white wire from the DRL-300 goes to the left coil negative.
The yellow wire from the DRL-300 goes to right coil negative.
The motor runs just fine so I'm certain the Dyna-S is connected correctly and functional as it should.
I want to see if anyone else has the same setup and how your DRL-300 dip switches are configured.
