Just bought an '87 gs450L. Im beggining to be worried though, because when I look for parts Im finding a lot of things that will fit the GS450L, but only up to 1983. Obviously some changes were made to the '84, but I haven't been able to compare mine with a pre-1983. Im hoping that there is a 450 Guru out there who knows something about what the changes were and possibly what problems I'm going to have with trying to put pre-83 parts on the '87. I am an apprentice mechanic at a local bike shop, and I can ask the real mechs to make slight modifications to the parts if neccesary. I guess what I am mostly worried about is making sure a MAC 2 into 1 exhaust will work, also Raask sells rearsets for the '83, was there a change to the footpeg/exhaust bracket?
