Can a '81 GS 750x 4-1header work on a 80' GS 850G

Hey gang newbie here , and I have built and still build bikes as a passionate hobby , a little new to the Suzuki GS world but I have been a fan for a while. My Father in Law gave me his 80 GS850G , runs like a top , just wantto do some performace mods. Going for the first one a header, I found a header from a 81 GS750X and was curious if it will bolt on to a GS850G looked around at parts sites , and I see they are listed together but, I always like to ask first.
