    I bought a 79 550L a few weeks ago and got it pretty much ship shape. This one has the VM carbs. I have about $600 into the bike I think. The biggest thing was a new stator. I found an 81 and 82 GS750 in what looks to be somewhat good shape. These bikes have the CV carbs. I'm wondering how much harder these are to work on and rebuild. Are the boots on these carbs torn/dry rotted often? Anything else on these bikes usually need going through/fixing/replacing? Thanks for an input.
