I hope this is the right place, if not I'm sure a Mod will move it.

The modern sidecar racing club I race with hosted Translogic to produce a sidecar film.

The host, Jonathon Buckley, was a hoot. My bike, #375, actually gets featured quite a bit.

    Hope you enjoy it.

thanks! If I can get some footage of me blasting up the grid from the last row I'll post it. The modern guys aren't happy that my torque monster beats them to turn 1 most of the time - and from the last row too!

the third time watching it I discovered that my rear shock needs a stiffer spring. Amazing what you can learn from these videos.

What do the modern chairs use for power?

the F2s have 600cc FI water cooled motors. The F1s use 1000cc FI water cooled motors.

The 600's don't have enough torque to do good standing starts. The 1000's are a bit of an expensive worry to get away quickly as the combo of very wide tyres and possibly fragile gearbox and clutch makes for a bit of a throttle and clutch juggling session.

The old Gs1100 with a heavy crank and torque for Africa would be fun...

I've been turning down offers of rides on sidecars since 1971. Don't plan to change that any time soon thanks.
