I ended up ordering Galfer lines, I got black lines with silver fittings, I got the front set of three and a rear line also. I mostly ordered them because they are allegedly made in USA. I got them through an ebay seller and it took nearly a month. I'm welding up a 304 stainless steel exhaust for my 69 firebird project and will install the lines when I get it finished this week.

I've done that before with Earls lines. I don't see the metric fittings I need in their catalog. it's AN -3 stuff except one single M10 x 1.0 fitting listed for their speed flex hose. I will give them a call. Hard to imagine they won't have them.

One thing I've done in the past when short on $ - looked up the length and fitting type and bought 'standard' EPDM hoses that were for a car. I got a set of 3 of Raybestos rubber hoses once for $30 at Rock Auto, when a set of stainless would have cost over $200 and would need to be custom made. They worked fine. I know they won't last as long, and would not be surprised to know that this shocks and horrifies many (don't save $ when your life depends on it, yada yada). Yes, I know but I don't think I am.

But thinking about it, isn't that material used on the majority of cars and motorcycles, as delivered new? I never had a problem with rubber hoses on any bike that wasn't an old beater, and my bike (and the new ones that had hoses made from it) had good brake feel - yeah, probably not as good as steel braided, but I never had reason to complain. Just sharing a cheapskate idea. I can outfit my Laverda with them for about $40 - and again, I'm in a situation where I can't find what I need and will have to get braided ones made, or make myself. I have actually found ones that are the same length and fitting - 2x that are M10 x 1.0 with one male and one female fitting, and another from the MC that has a banjo plus one male M10 x 1.0. All up it's $40.

The first time I figured I'd ordered something NLA. The second time, I don't know. I got a full refund and haven't followed for a "why", but just be aware what they still sell might be a subset of what they have listed. Or my card is on a blacklist somewhere, though I can't think of any reason why.
You are right, good update. I wanted some hoses for my Laverda, and they are listed, but not available.

Just email him with the year and model of the bike, how many hoses you want, and what color hose and fittings you want. My last set for a '78 GS1000 was $138 shipped for all 4 lines.

I've used them on 7-8 bikes and always got a good price and delivery. Nice product too!
I second Raymond....I have done 5 or 6 of by bikes with his lines....really good product and great prices too!

Correct, it's just the front for that price.

The old thread on making brake lines was outdated so this update is offered instead. Earl's parts are made in USA. No Chinese junk here. The pull off force for the bolt together lines is higher than machine crimp lines too so don't worry about failure (as long as you assemble correctly). You can see a video of the assembly
