I recently upgraded the front end on one of my GS 1000's to a GSXR 1st gen fork and I thought about using the original GS wire wheel instead of the GSXR wheel?
The advantages are that I don't need to buy the very expensive disks and the GS wheel fits right in with a small spacer on eitheir side.
I would then use the original calipers with an adaptation bracket.
Has anyone done it before?
I know the brakes are not at the level of the GSXRs but they are not that bad when run-in with the proper pads.
