    Need suggestions with Bandit swingarm

I am installing a Bandit swing arm into a GS1100ES. Lately there has been a thread that talked about using longer rear shocks. It was agreed that going from a 13" shock up to a 14.25" shock is beneficial to handling. With the Bandit set up, you have weld on newer lower shock mounts. My question is when using a 14.25" shock, should I weld the mounts in the standard position for a 13" shock, or weld them so the shock angle is the same as stock while using the 14.25" shock. The 3rd choice would be weld them into the standard position and use a 13" shock and eliminate any guess work. The entire front end is off of a 95 Triumph Sprint. Thanks, Jon
