    Doesn't the 750ES just have a light? It works in reverse from what you'd expect. I would expect a short somewhere, either there or the oil pressure lamp, or in the gear indicator wiring....

    You'll get there.... try adding a ground direct to the lamp temporarily & see if that helps, you could also consider running the lamp off a relay as a last resort. :)
