    Yes, forget the carb kits.....except for the o-rings, stock jetting stuff will be fine. Your carbs need to be thoroughly cleaned, i.e. dismantled, and dipped/soaked. Otherwise youíre wasting time.

    If you mean when itís not running,but ignition is ďonĒ ,this is normal. The ignitor powers one set of coils...then breaks the electrical connection to produce a spark just like a contact point would.
