Another refugee from Jockeyjournal. Welcome to the board. I take it those open carbs haven't sucked in any important body parts yet. Glad to see you got her up and running.

Thanks for the info so it cannot bottom out because it still rides to the existing stops.
You are running with excessive sag though which doesn't help the handling as you say. Lucky it's smooth ish down there, roads are terrible here!
I wonder if actually shortening the springs would be a better solution as you would then be able to run a stronger spring.

Not being critical just posting out of interest

            Kenny,

Great job on the bobber! Too bad you live so far away, a test ride on that would be worth a lot to me. Not an airplane ride, though...

What bike did you start with? How bad is it on the kidneys?

            More pics, please.

Edit - Never mind the pics, I found your build thread...

I would say "yes" to checks on the tank.

I like it! And the yellow looks good too, in a picture, anyway.

What are the extra lights? And where did the finned ignition cover come from?

WoW again! I am currently in Ankara, Turkey and have a VERY slow connection. BUT I MUST say I didn't know this could be done let alone there were so many "cafe" bikes out there and on this forum. So Much a newb. I am VERY impressed with what all of you have done I can't wait to see this whole posting. "to slow here". had to jump to the end to reply. But again WOW! So this is the difference between stock and modd'ed? I would like to see all of you parked in one spot.

                          Very impressive.

                          Have a nice day,
