    I don't believe the F4 will fit.

Worse case I'll bring these parts back with me 11th May but I hope to have them before then...

I now have a handful of sets. Should have another handful in a couple more weeks. Steel with black powdercoat.
This reduces costs and allows use of stock caliper bolts which reduces costs again as those fine threads are a bit pricey!

For a kit with all parts incl caliper brackets and the F3 rotor spacers/jigs $80 plus shipping which should be about $6-7 in the US.

As before you fit these at your own risk. You make certain of the suitability and your competence to fit them.
They have not been officially tested, certified, DOT approved or anything.

Looking at this mod over the last week or so I have realised you can get a caliper off an EX500 / 250 for the right side that's only 3 years old or so....

It would be cheaper to buy 2 of these & then track down an older left one & use the pistons, seals etc out of the 2nd newer one to rebuild the older left side than to buy all new parts from Bike Bandit.

Hope that makes sense & helps some people out...

This thread is exactly what I'm looking for!

My '81 GS450e needs a new front brake setup. The rotor may be able to be machined, but I'd like to replace the caliper and pads.

                          Salty,
-Will the setup you've put together work on a 450?
-Do I have to do a dual caliper kit? Or could I just redo the single-side brake?

                          Comment

How big is the stock rotor on that bike? If it's 274mm then it's possible you can just do a single sided upgrade (but you'll have to change out the rotor for a larger one)

If it's 296mm you can still do it but instead of changing the rotor you'll need to change the fork leg. Possible that a GS650 leg would fit but I'm not 100% on that.

It's the smaller rotor. So would I just need these parts? Anything I'm missing?

                              -New Caliper
                              -Caliper relocation bracket
                              -New Rotor (from big-brake gs?)
                              -Brake fluid
