    just got my bike back together 83 gs1100

    ok well this is what it has
    1166 10.5.1 kit
    port and polished head
    stock cams (for now)
    stock carbs (till i can get some 38s)
    i am going to run the bike the way it is and then i will the cams in it and carbs.

          Try to get some WebCam .340 or .348s.
          Otherwise the 38s will be too big.
          1983 GS 1100E w/ 1230 kit, .340 lift Web Cams, Ape heavy duty valve springs, 83 1100 head with 1.5mm oversized SS intake valves, 1150 crank, Vance and Hines 1150 SuperHub, Star Racing high volume oil pump gears, 36mm carebs Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, Posplayr's SSPB, Progressive rear shocks and fork springs, Dyna 2000, Dynatek green coils and Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust.
          1985 GS1150ES stock with 85 Red E bodywork.

            Now me, I got pics, and no bike. That's definitely worse.

            I got parts and pieces of a bike and some pics of them, and pics of my bike the way it was, but no all together re-assembled bike.

            So for now I have to live vicariously by reading about and looking at other peoples bikes. Its just tough when.... there are no pics.

            That should do it.
            I had a perfectly good bike and two days ago i just tore it completely apart .

            Soon to be reborn.
