          That sounds more in line.

Wow. I don't think I have anything that would drag it that fast on the highway. A cliff, maybe.

That's what I thought. But just to be an ass, I E-mailed the seller and asked him if he held the zero button down too long as suggested.

It would easily bring $1500 Canadian on Vancouver Island. 5 grand? Crack smoking is involved in this case.

Yeah, it's Rob. This is the answer I got when I replied to the ad. "Rob" was also in the E-Mail address.

                    Hi there,
Thanks for the interest in my bike. To your question, no I did not "hold the zero button down", I can't for the life of me understand why so many people keep thinking there is an error with the price. This is an iconic, vintage, never to be made again bike. Hell, it might even run one day!....maybe...

Bikes have sure become expensive in Portland, Oregon. Who knew that a passel of bikes/mopeds would be worth 5 Million Dollars.

The best passage in the description...

"I will consider trades for other vehicles, land, and licensed contractors ONLY. Sorry, but I do not want your weed or electronics, thank you."
1984 GS1150ES (finally arrived, more to come...)
1989 Dodge Dakota (the perfect Oregon work truck)
1980 Sears "Free Spirit" bicycle (original patina and everything!)
1978 "The Executive" RV (vintage like its owner)

How can I be in two places at once when i'm not anywhere at all?

Can I double park in a parallel universe?

I know lots of you won't agree but I'm not opposed to this kind of thing, if it were $300...guys asking $4k!

"Another cool project I'm not going to get around to finishing . Hardtail was installed by a shop in N.H. Was assured it is straight and it looks straight . Lots more work needs to be done . Motor had spark in the stock frame . Good compression and shifts good . Comes with the bike the motor came out of . NO F&%$@NG TITLES ! Maybe I'm not asking enough compared to the prices of those ****box " brat bikes " so how about $4000 or B.O. or trade for a Honda XL 175"
