Road to work and to a shop so I could replace my crappy 'waterproof' and 'cold weather' Bilt gloves that I got less than a week ago.
Its been pouring with rain all day(week), so I'm staying indoors for the rest of the day.

So, I'm working on restoring an estate pipe I picked up this past weekend. 1933-1936 Yello Bole. I cleaned it up a bit and now letting it sit in a ziplock with rum and some 190 proof everclear for a day or two.
Now to figure out how the hell I'm going to smoke it and ride at the same time..

If I send them 6.50, think they'll still send me one?

Just gotta teach the wife how to ride. If it ever stops raining. We have flood warnings for the next 3 days.

        Kat Day Out

Hi to all, well the weather was perfect here to-day for a ride which was much appreciated by some friends that had planned to have a Kat Day Out. The ride was just over 340km in distance and through some very scenic mountain roads with some sporty sections as well as sweeping low level hills through some of the back roads with no other vehicles in sight, what a great day! We had a pretty good mix of bikes with Pete's GS450, John's G1100G, a Firestorm, a SV650, a GSX1100ES, an ex-production Racer GSX1100 E that is still very fast, a Yammy and two other bikes I can't think of right now, and oh yeah seven Katanas including a stunning 750 Pop-up and a highly moddified Kat that is capable of ...... well the pic of Drillit's Kat tells the story better than I could! With only stops for fuel and a late breakfast there are only the usual servo pics but these will give you an idea of the day, cheers.

Thanks for organising that Glen, that was awesome, even if I did have to bail out early at Dayboro. Looks like the rest of the day was as good as the start, and I found some new roads too! Never been on Clear Mountain Rd before so now I know it I can add that to my test route...

I have some dodgy iPhone pic's from the Samford servo too, oh, and John's on an 1100 not an 850

All I can say right now is roll on June and let's get a combined GSR/Katana forum run organised!

Well, looks like quite a day - glad everyone had a good time. Seven Kats together - I've never even seen another one on the road at the same time as me - let alone ride together!

You know, I just love that black and red ES paint scheme - we never had a choice here stateside. Looks like 82 star wheels, very trick with the red highlights. And the custom Kat, well, that sure looks like fun!

Hi Scott, yeah it was perfect day and great to have some Kats out even though two others couldn't make it on the day. So did the States only have the ES in the white and blue scheme?

The custom Kat is not only pure Kat Porn visually, it performs even better than it looks. I have posted some other detailed pics in "7 Katanas - What". Have a look I think you'll like what you see, I still have a .......... never mind. Cheers mate.

Took a little drive down to Texas this weekend, and met up with Chuck. Couldn't waste a visit without breaking out a couple of his beautiful GS's...

Here they are, after a beautiful ride from Temple to Killeen Power Sports.

On the way back, took a little detour and stopped at Lake Belton...

Could have left the one of our fat azzes out Matt...LOL. The pics turned out great. I like that turnout area. The lake is beautiful. The view looking west from the center of the dam is even better than from the end where we were at.

Took the 400 out for a run to mum and dads today. On the way I stopped in the old warehouse district here in Port Adelaide for a couple of photos, enjoy-

That is a very very very, did I say very, very nice looking twin! I'm not usually big on cafes, but this one is clean and nicely done, I could see owning one like this, maybe a larger cc version as I way more than a buck 20 soaking wet which you'd have to be to ride one of these, this one would get a vote from me if ever there was a category for BOTM, hmmm, maybe we should have several categories for BOTM, so all would feel a bit more included. Did I just make friends or enemies with that last statement?!

Hi Veg, that is a very classy looking cafe, well done. The work you have put into the whole bike is a marvel but the wheels and rear sprocket are just stunning. Thanks for the photos and the location shots suits the cafe just right, cheers.
