    Hey! I resemble that remark! You'd think by now I'd learn, but this happened to me just last year. Also, I wasn't alone. Three of us on that trip replaced tires mid-trip due to underestimating tire wear or, in one case, a puncture.

    So cool to see the turbo GS out in the wild.
    .... a trip to Bonneville for some glamour shots of it in its natural habitat would be epic

    Yeah really dead, only one other bike there. Was late in the day but still surprised me how empty. Maybe that Arctic blast of 50 degree weather scared people off!
