Just to clear things up. Screws were painted separately, all linkage will function like it should, paint is specifically chosen for its gas resistant properties, customer chose the colors, vent connector hoses were not painted over.
What a sad day for the GSR with members like Hahn.
Chuck should keep that BS in the off topic.

AND... I posted that I didnt know what was or wasnt done or what materials were used also.. MY OPINION...which I am full entitled to, by the way, is based solely and entirely on what i SEE in the posted pictures. nothing more or nothing less. Just out of curiosity, did you tell the dude the two slide were goobered or did he find that out when he opened the box? Thats NOT an acuusation...just an honest question so dont start crying or anything.

I will save you then time here Paul..

FRANK.. I AM NOT attacking Pauls integrity..just making observations based on what the original poster has posted. If Pauls feelings are hurt, so what. Thats part of the game if you do work and its openly and freely posted up for scrutinization. I dont like what some point out and disagree about things I post up sometime either, Frank..but I dont send you please make them stop PMs either. I grow a thick skin and take it like a man.

Negative advertising moves from the political scene to private enterprise. What's next ? A customer holding two sets of carbs and saying he likes one better. ?
You have made unsubstantiated claims against another member Chuck. Not cool !

No Bluewool..The 20.00 dollars is what it would cost to dip them ( BUY THE BERRYMNANS ) not the big money that "somehow" those magical machines demand for being so much more superior...yet another example of a member biasedly twisting another words. Anyone even conscious knows noone does a set of carbs for 20.00. So (other than yourself) who are you impressing with that comment??? You are summarily dismissed.

Hypocrites one and all..either comprehend what i type fully and keep the coments in line WITH the intent of them..not how you wanna spin Dr it boys and girls.

I never stated that " MR X" was Paul...so again your now the one making unfair assaults. If your that friggin stupid to realise that my term " MR X" was a GENERIC term for " for WHOEVER the other guy was " then you really dont warrant further responses.. Hold on a second. I will try to draw up a picture menu like at Mc Donalds so you can follow along.

Chuck mentioned tubes, not the hoses.

Thanks for the back up Dale.. Yeah they do look ok if that what one likes and wants. I clearly remember posting this EXACT sentiment also. I simply stated what i saw as problems with things being painted that will move and crack and chip the paint off. And anyone that has ever painted so much as a model airplane knows..Once the sealed edges of that paint cracks from the base materials, the moisture, fuel, grease and whatever else has a place to seep in and delaminate the rest and slowly ruin the entire shooting match.

Chuck, if that's the amount he charges, to me, it looks like his service is a much better deal that what wired George charges.

It wasn't a back up, it was just my observation after re-reading the details.

On a personal note, if the buyer is happy with the service, there is no one else that matters. Now on the other hand, if you had contracted to have you carbs worked on and had a reason to be dissatisfied with the service, then I think it would be appropriate to post negative comments (not saying you had) 'as was the case' when you had your first set done by wired George.

There are a few things I would have done differently if it had been myself doing those carbs, but that would be just nit picking little specs of fly crap out of it. Nothing major by any means. The same as I know people could do that same to me with what I have done on my bikes. It all come down to personal preferences some times.

Keep in mind this section is for buyer reviews.

                                My .02...
