    Shinko hook up tire

    Finally replaced my old 7" M/T sick and put a 180 Shinko on. Tire pressure was around 9 psi and after I adjusted the wheelie bars it ran a 6.17 in the 1/8 last Friday.

    Gotta say I like it, cheaper than the slick and more chain clearance too. Will see with more tuning if it can break into the 5's next time cause I hit the rev limit in the traps, darn that smaller tire.

    Just got my new hookup mounted today. two weeks before I can try it out. Good price from Chaperral with free delivery too.

        5's??? Holy crap. I didn't know you were running 5's on your GS's, damn. Guess I never really looked at your signature.

          With nitrous it's easy. Hopefully it won't rain next weekend and will see what happens ?

            Hit the track tonight and with tire pressure at 8 psi and with a 30 shot of nitrous my best was 5.95 at 116 in the 1/8 on the Hookup so far. It's been 6 year since I ran the high 5's and felt good getting back into that club.
