    Quick Question!

This is a carb from an 83 GS 550L, it has a hairline crack on a tube connected to the choke circuit, i was wondering if this would have any effect on performance.20150912_102554.jpg

Not much if any. That tube is only in use when the choke is on, and all it could do is slightly alter the amount of fuel going into the engine. If it starts and runs fine when cold I wouldn't worry about it.

Life is too short to ride an L.

      Where is the crack?

if you look at the tube, near where it meets the body, you will see a bleeder hole or two.
Unless the crack is gaping wider than the hole(s), don't worry about it.
