    '81 GS450 520 Chain Conversion

Can anyone confirm that the following parts will work to convert my GS450 to a 520 chain?

Vortex lists this front sprocket as a 520 conversion; Vortex part# 3270-16

I can't find the thread right now, but I remember reading that the rear sprocket for an '82 GS300L will bolt right up to the GS450 wheel and it is 520 pitch.

Am I on the right track?

Bonus pics of before and after putting some drag bars on this beautiful beast.

I was able to pick this bike up for $1150 with less than 6000 miles on the clock.

Re: GS450 "Sport" - airbox work.... great looking work rich. Gary

When comparing the drawings on the JT Sprockets website, the mounting holes look different to me. Am I missing something? I'm just trying to find a setup that is confirmed to work before ordering parts.
