What is it with the weather when you least want it? We started off the morning with fog again delaying my departure for a couple of hours. We made it to Cumberland Falls where Stator thought he could find gold

and then took in the waterfall. I am a little surprised there is still that much water in the river but I guess there was been a good amount of rain lately with the hurricane and all.

Though I didn't make it to Albuquerque, I did try to make the ride home last for awhile. However, I decided to jump onto the interstate near Lexington and arrived back home with 1,785.6 miles through 6 states over the last 7 days. I definitely want to go again

I went back through and added some pictures to the various days. One thing to add for those who haven't yet made this trip - go. There are so many things to see and do that it's a must. I already am thinking about how to make it back to the top of the Skyway to walk through a fantastic museum and of course try to ride down the Dragon and maybe even Devils Triangle. However, I also want to spend time in Cherokee and, as Steve said, there are some great looking roads off of the Parkway I'd like to visit some time.

I'm so glad I finally completed this ride.

Congratulations on completing the journey. Nothing a nice long motorcycle trip to make you want to get back out and do another. Great pics and write-up. Thanks for sharing.
