Gixxer forks are all shorter and mess up rake and trail, except the early 1100. Bandit 1200 forks are the right length. Use search, there are multiple threads on fork swaps.

Here is mine with a RF900 fork on it, i'm switching over to 1200 bandit legs with the RF tripple trees. They are the same size, the bandit tubes are about an inch longer.

Early ('89-'96) gsx600/750f (katana in USA) front ends are a great fit on these. Easier to find and usually cheaper. 41mm tubes and really great brakes.

Everything fits its just a matter of using the right size bearings, allballsracing.com fex sells conversion bearings so you can fit most anything on your bike :-P

Awesome guys thanks for the info im currently looking at these.

looks like im going to need some triple trees. This looks like the front end setup im going to use. probably going to pull the trigger some time this week unless I find something better.

Id prefer a gold color for the forks but hey beggars cant be choosers.

i'm gonna keep searching and see what I find

I will post pics when i'm done guys thank you for the help!

                              Guys update!

bikes still having the top end of the motor getting rebuilt but in the mean time I was looking at possible front end parts to buy.

I found a 2000 gsxr front end complete with breaks master cyclinders and front wheel!

hoping this will fit looking to get some more information before I go through with the purchase
