    dB Customs Carbon 173hp Katana

Recent build we just completed that is going to a customer in Arizona from dB Customs, with a Ray Mancini 173hp (countershaft hp) 1260cc engine. All paint, no vinyl decals. Any questions, just ask away ....

          Beautiful bike!

And I'm guessing that $16,500 is low.

What are the carbs? Are they the RS 34 flat slides that I read so much about here on the forum?

Awesome! What is the mini K&N filter under the tail for?

So is the tank real CF? Or is it CF painted? Or Wrapped maybe?

Great work. The only thing I would do different is to hide or black out the reg/rec and fuse box.

I expect that engine alone is more than half of your $16,500, with the fancy wheels and suspension eating up the rest of it before you even touch the chassis and bodywork.

That's fantastic, love it! Is the tail piece/seat the carbon item from Webike in Japan? I got to see one in person some time ago and they're very neat pieces of kit although out of my price range. What brand are the pipes also?

I love that it still looks just like a Kat

Really like just about everything about this build!

3 questions.......... Is there no where discrete to place that $15 stock horn?

Looks nice without a cooler but what happens in the AZ summer with a 1260 motor?

What's the distance from the bottom of the header to the road when both wheels are on the ground?

Without a Series R/R or a cooler, I bet it will get very hot. Looks like the stock R/R and stock igniter.

It might have been a nice touch to use a Dyna 2000 that has both a rev limited and low RPM retard to improved the longevity of the starter clutch.

On top of all that he is using small LED blinkers, and we can probably assume a LED upgrade in the headlamp. Poor little stator probably will not last too long.

That looks like a 4:2:1 header; it would be nice to see the full dyno results with hp,torque and AFR
