Many great pics this week guys. I'm voting for trevor. I think I've seen and maybe voted for that, or a variation of that pic in a previous theme. But I love it. Something about those happy little clouds.

Lots to choose from. And that is good.

          My "short list" has 8.
So.... how to make any further choices.....? Am trying to settle the many thoughts that are bouncing around in my deliberations .......

Some are great picture, really great, but I get the idea they were taken mostly to show the terrestrial scene, and the sky happened to be interesting, but the sky was not the main purpose of the picture.

First, to make a shorter short list, I am Thinking of the ones where the sky is the major element of the picture, say, more than 1/3rd of the frame to convey "big sky" of the theme's title.
And the description of the theme seemed to emphasis "dramatic", more than "big". But I cant dismiss the "big", since it is the title, So am thinking of "big" and "dramatic".

For "big" I think Keerfunk posing really does that.

When I took my pic, a few years ago, I was going for "big" sky and big clouds, by finding a place that can see the sky over a wide expanse. In more recent years I would have gotten to a lower perspective, maybe drop to a knee or hold camera closer to ground, to minimize the foreground and the mid-ground and to more feature the sky.

But for big and dramatic, I have to vote for Roger Burque's.

              Hey, Bob,
              Thanks for doing the summary.
(6am, is pretty much night time for me anymore)

              Hey, Roger,
Next time try to get the lightning bolt to not be so close behind the bike in the picture.

Just for fun, not a submission, but just so you can laugh at me.
Here is a picture, I took last evening, shows that the sky goes all the way from here (the bike), all the way up and over, to there.

Hint: is a panographich shot, but I panned vertically......

Lots of great pics and for different reasons. Some just overall great shots with vibrant colors and some fit the theme better than others.

I've gotta go with Trevor this week as his shot does both. (colors may not be as vibrant, but still love the shot)

Nice pano, Dave. I been thinking about doing something like that, lol.

I'm in for gustovh for the "look at that sky" with the pov that makes the sky the major element of the picture.
