Wow! Honda CB500 Four...they don't get much more classic than that.

Wish I still owned it. Loved that bike. Mind you I seem to get attached to my mechanical machines.

A friends 74 CB 550 in the early 90s. This was the first fully legal road bike I ever rode.... it was exhilarating. I didn't yet have a moto license or even a permit yet, but would within the year. I took my road test on this bike. Sadly my friend lost interest in about a year and the bike was left to weather in a condominium complex parking lot before being twice.

Mr Dorkburgers 550 4 reminds me of the first time I was arrested on a bike. It was right after I got back from a 1000 mile trip and got busted almost in front of my house. That was a pretty good bike.

              Voting for Mr Dorkburger.

Can't vote for myself so Dorkburger gets my vote for the 550/4.

Almost as good as the 500's

I like both those old Hondas. No accessories, no luggage carrying capacity, just motorcycle! Six of one, half dozen of the other, I'll go with Dorkburger's 550/Four. But both are totally proper scooters.

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

I really like the pic, reminds me of stopping along the way back to my home town.

I never got nostalgic or emotional when I traveled back in car or truck

it's been several years since I've went back to hometown on a motorcycle voyage, used to twice a summer.

Last time I did ,I left right after work six - seven hour ride, got there around midnight and just rode around town for about a bit just reminiscing about the past ,before I went to my cousins who knew I'd be late and left a light on for me.
