Added another bike... 2000 Honda Shadow VT1100C Sabre

Just picked this bad boy up yesterday. I technically had a Virago in my garage for a bit, but this is my first V-Twin that I plan on riding. The idea with this bike is to keep it for cruising around with the wife.

Planning on changing out a few little things... might do different bars, change the seat out for a more comfortable passenger seat and back, and likely change out the bags for some a little bigger and not as "dated" looking.

The GS is not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, but if the right offer were to be presented, I would consider it.

My son has had two of them. The first one got totaled when hit and he went out and found another. He loves it and has put a lot of trouble free miles on it. My buddy is a Honda mechanic and he says he never gets one in the shop for anything other than tires or oil changes.

I like that seat. Bags look good too, but I'd probably get something a smidge smaller. Debating on a windshield like that as well.

My 1/2 brother has a couple of them (one is his, one is his girlfriend's) and they ride them allot and I never hear him mentioning any problems except that the guys on "crotch rockets" are always screaming by him. lol

The only thing I ever have to do on them at the shop, is oil, pads and tires. Very solid and reliable bikes. Not to mention they look and sound good also.

Congratulations on the purchase of your Honda Shadow. A friend owned one and it was Honda reliable throughout.
