GS850 1981 - Clean the contacts and check the firing point

Hello all. I bought a GS850 1981 recently, it is in pretty good condition but as part of the general check and maintenance I plan to check and clean the firing contacts and also check the firing point. I couldn't find a manual to check what se proper gap o the firing contacts, and also a procedure to verify and if necessary adjust the firing point.
I would like to know if someone has information to share for this topic.

    Thanks!

That bike has electronic ignition, so it does not have points.

I removed the ignition cover today, and my bike has electronic ignition.

Thanks for the information and help!

            Welcome to GSR.

All GSs 1980 and after have the electronic ignition (and most other brands about that same year).

Had 850G for 14 years. Now have GK since 2005.
