GS850 Carb fluttering and bogging down at 60mph

    The '80 850L shares a box with the '80/'81 850G. The '82/'83 850G shares a box with the '81-'83 850L.

    The 1000G and GL and the 1100G and GL from the same years will look the same, but have larger airboots that mate up with the larger carbs.

      Next question: How much difference does the snorkel make? Would this be yet another reason why I'm only getting 30 mpg in addition to misaligned floats, different sized pilot jets in all 4 carbs.. 2 carbs running rich and 1 running lean and one running great... In addition to the compression being only just above service limits... and the valves not being adjusted correctly for 8 years..... Other than that my bike is in GREAT shape....
