    Brake upgrade

Hey Y'all! I did some searching and didn't come up with much, so I figured I'd just ask. Anyone have any good ideas for a caliper upgrade? I'd like a 2 piston set to upgrade the stock calipers on an 81 550. I can change the rotors if need be, but I can't seem to find much that would indicate if it's doable. I don't want to change the forks if I can help it, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Salty Monk makes an adapter so that you can install twinpot calipers from a late 80s early 90s Ninja or similar.

The link to the biggest thread on this is in my sig. below.

As long as its Axle under and a twin brake model it’ll work. Singles use a diff rotor. L’s get ignored... (not really I’ve just never had one so never figured out the differences).

          cheers
