    Carbs stuck

    Hi,

I'm trying to pull my carbs on my GS550E-82. The airfilter box is loose and I have some space between the box and the carbs.
But they are stuck on the "rubber-intake for the cylinders". Any tip on how to get them off (Heat, violence...).
Sorry for not using the correct grammar, but i'm a rookie in this area.

You need to slide airbox back more (move wiring, loosen rear fender, etc.) to get carbs out of rubber carb boots first, then get carbs out of airbox. Take some pictures to remind you how the cable stuff was connected

Are the clamps on the intake boots completely loose and moved out of the way? Depending on when the last time the bike was touched, you may have to manhandle them out then buy new boots when you get the new o-rings.
