Default Wiring Diagram for Dime City Cycles Speedometer & Tachometer

Installed speedo w/ dummy lights and tach from dime city cycles after the original gauges on my 82 gs450l cluster chonked. I computered this diagram to help me visualize the install. I put in a six-pin connector for the speedo wires as shown, a two-pin connector for the diode-thingy, and bullet connectors for the blinker & high beam grounds and power (the DCC tach came with bullets & I replaced the old ones in the harness).

All credit to Chuck78 for the heavy lifting on this as I used his figuring:

the wires in my bike's loom were the same colors as Chuck78's, but check your wiring diagram. So far they are working well and looking shiny. Hope this helps someone!Speedo & Tach Wiring - DCC.jpg

Like your diagram - thanks for the info. How’s it look on the bike?

I think they look good! I like the blue backlights. Looking for a way to mount them closer together, but this works for now.
