    Interesting, Sandy.
Was going to ask about the illumination of the interior shot, but then see what looks like the shadows from the camera strobe.

Did that feel strange to go into there? (Did when I stepped into old brick kilns. Especially when others there are collapsed.)

Had 850G for 14 years. Now have GK since 2005.

No, I didn't go in. Just stuck the camera through the door and shot. Maybe next time.

I've been reviewing recent work the last two evenings. This was from my moto / photo outing last week.

This is from earlier this fall. I keep going back to it. I pitched a stone into the water to make the ripples. I think it gives an otherwise very static shot some movement. I also tweaked the contrast up significantly in the iphone edit tools. (Pic taken with the digital camera and sent to the phone for sharing, etc).

Yep, that's the place. After stopping there last week it's on my list for further exploration.
Lots of interesting photo ops. Nature, history, ruins, etc. It a 4 ish mile long peninsula with the ocean on one side and the bay on the other.

Some claim it is a 68 Mach one. I thought 69-or 70 when I saw it.

My mother in law asked me if I could replace the crumbling power cord on an old 8mm film projector she had so she could watch some really old films they have...
Cord replaced. I couldn't resist taking some pictures before I put the cover back on.

I stopped by here twice this month, as I was working in the area.. Great Falls in Paterson. I need to spend more time here or move on. I couldn't get any views that I really loved, but was in a bit of a rush both times.

I wouldn't consider it worth taking the hour plus ride on my own time to go here. Interesting that a couple months ago I was at the other end of the Passaic River where it was maybe 20 feet wide. Yesterday was interesting in that we had heavy rain the the falls were ripping compared to the last time I was there.
