Thanks. I've passed that spot countless times over the last 12 years going to a couple of jobs in the area. Yesterday morning it looked lovely with the yellow leaves so I stopped by after work.

Canon 60d camera body with a Sigma 150-300mm lens. I used a corded remote to eliminate camera shake.
I don't have any editing software on my computer so I did some light editing on my phone to bring out some of the definition.
Here's a direct link. May help if you want to see it blown up a little more.

EDIT: I broke down and downloaded Lightroom onto my PC.

Thanks Glen. That waterfall shot of yours is fantastic. I'm under the impression you brought your shutter speed way down in order to get the water to look like that?

Yes, the dance between a slow enough shutter sped to blur the water, but fast enough not to overexpose or have camera shake. I’d have liked to do it on a tripod to get more blur, but I don’t bring it to work, plus I was standing on the edge of a ( lightly traveled) road.

Most days I walk my dog around this lake behind my house.
The other day there was a delightfully perfect little leaf.
