Sequential plates.... cool. My in laws have a sequential set from when they moved to Jersey in '77.
I want them when they stop driving for the garage. Theybare the old beige plates.

Scott (s), beatuiful woodwork, and nice mural shot.

About the only way to get them, unless you go with vanity plates, I guess.
TN allows plate transfers, so if I ever replace one of the bikes, I can move the plate.
'course when/if I get the old Honda running, it will get a non-sequential plate.

                Thanks for that....LOL....
You need a bigger tripod. (Although I do like the low point of view)

I use this tripod on the bikes. Oben AT-3400 with a better BE-117T head. It folds down to 15", which fits in my hardbags or larger soft bags easy. If I take the head off, it fits in my smaller soft bags. However it is not avalible any more, and has been replaced with the Oben AT-3535, which folds up to 12", extends over 50", and has a decent head. All for only $80. I think I need one, as that extra 3" will be very helpful.

Yes, a bigger tripod will eventually be purchased. This one is maybe a foot tall, but convenient as I have it, plus it fits in the small bag.
I had a proper tripod way back, but no idea what became of it.

Thanks Steve. I love that warm glow of the nearby streetlights.

They are replacing all the street lights in Knoxville with LED bulbs.
Very harsh, very white light. Got one that lights up my side yard, and I hate it.

Its interesting. Those sodium vapor lights photograph with that nice warm glow, while the old white streetlights show up with a greenish tint on the camera. I haven't taken any night shots under LEDs yet, but agreed on the dislike of them as street / home lighting. Its generally a harsh lighting.

Also of note. The low light image quality between my few generations old phone camera and the camera. I'm loving the camera.

After sunset I went for ride out of town, and then back into town.

Rode around town, looking for some scenes to try for some Dorkburger shots (low light).
But I cheated somewhat, and found some well lit scenes and cranked the ISO up to 1600 and 3200 (so not use tripod).

At the old depot, I was going to park bike right up on sidewalk under the eve, but was something going on inside with people comming and going. I took a few pics, moved bike, took a few more pics. THen noticed some people watching me from inside. THen noticed the event was the award reception for the "Art Walk" (artist displaying art work in storefronts downtown) that has been going on last couple weeks. They probably thought I was as weird as I though some of the stuff downtown was.
