    Flywheel rotor 'end ring' cracked

    Hi
Please see attached pic of my Gs550 flywheel. My question is does the damage to the 'end ring' matter too much. The engine seems in excellent condition otherwise, with little wear and all measurements within tolerance. I have no idea of mileage and have never seen it run. Can a new one be fabricated, if necessary?
    Many thanks
    Pete

Is there any damage to the rotor itself?

If you were to replace it, you would have to replace the entire rotor

Rotor seems fine - just the resin type stuff on the end that is cracking off.
