That was pretty funny. We had the 38 - 40 year old bikes that each started up with one or two turns of the starter on the first touch of the button, and the fancy-shmancy bike refusing to start.

Sorry Dave, but I was quietly chuckling in my helmet at that.

    Alrighty.

I've got this in my calendar. The budget is nasty tight but I'mma do my best to be there. Consider me 90%.

... and there's rumor that Mr. Burleson will be joining us. There's another rumor that the one and only TIM CLARKE (first timer) will be as well.

I was thinking the same thing, but I was quietly cursing in MY helmet. Also, that bike had been in the hands of another owner for a few years and I have no idea what maintenance was done to it. And now I'm making excuses...

Usually, if the anniversary falls on a weekday, we celebrate on a Friday or Saturday evening anyway. So, we should be able to do it the weekend before.

I'm in ! ! ! Yeah, yeah, I know, I say that every year, and have to back out. Not this year. If I have to pitch a tent, and eat ramen, I'll be there! I will be on the (hopefully freshly painted) GSXR750W, and want to get at least one day in with the fast group, lol...
